Graduated in Medicine at the University of Campinas (1980), master’s (1990) and doctorate (1995) in Medicine at the Medical School of USP. Currently, he is a doctor at the Cancer Institute of the São Paulo State (ICESP) and at the Sírio-Libanês Hospital. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He has experience in medicine, with emphasis on oncology, acting on the following topics: molecular biology, carcinogenesis, and gastro intestinal tract cancer.
