Paulo Cezar de Almeida completed his doctorate in Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (EPM) in 1997, in the Molecular Biology Program, held Post-Doctoral training in the Protein Modeling and Structure Unit of the Pasteur Institute in Paris, under supervision of Michel Goldberg. He held the position of Dean of Research, Post graduation and Extension of the University of Mogi das Cruzes – UMC in the biennium 03/2006 to 04/2008. After this period he served as Superintendent of Strategic Planning at the same university until 09/2009. He served as Coordinator of the Biomedicine Course, was researcher and associate professor at the same institution.
Since 2002 he has been dedicated to R & D & I and technology transfer. He served as Technology Coordinator at Regional CIESP / FIESP Alto Tietê and CEO of the Regional Development Agency of the Alto Tietê – ADRAT (2007-2009). In its activities in science, he interacted with 97 collaborators in scientific papers. He is currently linked to the area of institutional relations from FUNDAP – Administrative Development Foundation – linked to the Ministry of Public Management of the State of São Paulo – with special interest in regional, technological and higher education development.
